Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of monetary policy in supporting sustainable economic growth in Indonesia. The method used is a literature review, gathering and analyzing various relevant sources related to monetary policy and its impact on economic growth. Monetary policy plays a crucial role in supporting sustainable economic growth in Indonesia. Managed by Bank Indonesia, this policy includes interest rate regulation, inflation control, and exchange rate management to create a stable economic environment. By stabilizing prices and maintaining the purchasing power of the public, monetary policy aims to create a conducive investment climate, boost production, and encourage job creation. Appropriate interest rate settings can stimulate domestic investment and consumption, ultimately contributing to national economic growth. Additionally, in a dynamic global context, flexible monetary policy is essential to address external challenges, such as commodity price fluctuations and international market uncertainties. This study aims to analyze how monetary policy can support sustainable economic growth in Indonesia and evaluate the challenges encountered in implementation, such as exchange rate volatility and inflationary pressures. By understanding the role and impact of monetary policy, effective strategies can be identified to achieve stable and sustainable economic growth in Indonesia.
