Abstract
An economic system refers to the methods used by a country or society to organize and manage economic activities, including the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. Economic systems can be differentiated based on the government's role in regulating the economy, which includes market economic systems, centralized (command) economic systems, and mixed economic systems. Meanwhile, political economics is a branch of science that studies the relationship between economic policies and political factors, as well as how political decisions affect a country's economy. The scope of the economic system includes various aspects such as resource allocation, income distribution, as well as the formation and implementation of economic policies that influence the welfare of society. In relation to political economy, the economic system also includes analysis of the role of the state, fiscal, monetary and international relations policies that influence the global economy.
