Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility, Capital Structure, and Company Size on the company's financial performance projected by Return on Assets (ROA). This study uses reports from manufacturing companies in the basic and chemical industry sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017-2020. The sampling method is purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics, classical assumption test and hypothesis testing with multiple linear analysis. The results of this study prove that Corporate Social Responsibility has a positive and significant effect on financial performance, capital structure has a negative and significant effect on financial performance, firm size has no significant effect on financial performance. financial performance. This research is important for the company's management to better consider the factors that can improve the company's financial performance. For investors, this research can be used as a reflection in considering investing in the company. For further research, it is possible to increase the population and add other independent variables. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh Corporate Social Responsibility, Struktur Modal, dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang diproksikan dengan Return on Assets (ROA). Penelitian ini menggunakan laporan perusahaan manufaktur sektor industri dasar dan kimia yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2017-2020. Metode pengambilan sampel adalah metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis dengan analisis linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa corporate social responsibility berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan, struktur modal berpengaruh negatif dan signfikan terhadap kinerja keuangan, ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan. Penelitian ini penting bagi manajemen perusahaan agar lebih baik untuk mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor yang mampu meningkatkan kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Bagi investor, penelitian ini bisa dijadikan refleksi dalam mempertimbangkan untuk melakukan investasi terhadap perusahaan. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya bisa memperbanyak populasi dan menambahkan variabel independen yang lain. Kata kunci: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Struktur Modal (DER), Ukuran Perusahaan, Return on Assets (ROA).
