Abstract
In the era of globalization and rapid economic development, the Islamic economic system offers a more balanced alternative compared to capitalism and socialism, both of which have weaknesses related to economic inequality and the lack of individual incentives. The Islamic economic system focuses not only on economic profit but also emphasizes justice, social welfare, and adherence to sharia principles, which include regulations on economic transactions such as the prohibition of riba (interest), gharar (uncertainty), and maysir (gambling). This reflects moral and ethical values that guide economic activities, as well as the maqashid shariah principle, which aims to protect religion, life, intellect, lineage, and wealth. One key aspect of this system is the fair distribution of wealth through instruments like zakat, infaq, and sedekah, which serve to reduce social inequality. With the development of Islamic banking and the financial sector in line with Islamic principles, the Islamic economic system is now not only accepted by Muslim countries but also adopted by non-Muslim countries as a more stable and ethical alternative. Therefore, understanding Islamic economics is crucial for implementation in daily life, whether by individuals, institutions, or economic policies, to create a more just and sustainable economy
