Abstract

This article discusses the relationship between economic systems and political economy, which are two integral aspects of understanding the dynamics of development andstatepolicies. An economic system refers to how a country organizes and manages resourcestomeet the needs of society, which can take the form of market, command, or mixedsystems.Political economy, on the other hand, focuses on the interaction between governmentpolicies and the existing economic structures, as well as how political decisionsinfluenceresource allocation, wealth distribution, and social welfare. This article exploresvariouseconomic theory approaches used to analyze economic policies, both in thecontextofdeveloping and developed countries. The discussion also includes the role of institutionsand political ideologies in determining the applied economic system, as well asthechallenges faced by countries in implementing fair and sustainable economic policies. Byanalyzing case studies, this article aims to provide insights into the importanceof therelationship between economic systems and political economy in creating prosperityandsocietal welfare.
