Abstract
The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed various aspects of life, including religious practices and Islamic values. This study examines the challenges and opportunities of AI in reinforcing Islamic principles through three main frameworks: the techno-spiritual paradigm, the maqasid al-shariah (purposes of Islamic law), and technology ethics based on Islamic teachings. Using a systematic literature review methodology, the research analyzes various sources, including scientific journals, books, research articles, and other relevant AI and Islamic values documents. The results indicate that AI has the potential to be a transformative tool in areas such as Islamic education, digital philanthropy, and enhancing sharia governance. However, challenges such as the erosion of spiritual values, algorithmic bias, and technological dependency must be addressed through multidisciplinary collaboration between scholars, technology experts, and policymakers. In conclusion, AI has significant potential to strengthen Islamic values if developed within strict Islamic principles, ethics, and regulations.
